چکیده

In this proceedings contribution I review recent progress concerning the suppression of bottomonium production in quark-gluon plasma. Making use open quantum system methods applied to potential non-relativistic chromodynamics one can show that dynamics heavy-quarkonium bound states satisfying scale hierarchy 1/a0 » πT ∼ mD E obey a Lindblad equation whose solution provides evolution reduced density matrix. To solve resulting we trajectories algorithm which allows include all possible angular momentum quark-antiquark probe scalable manner. We using tuned 3+1D dissipative hydrodynamics code for background temperature evolution. then consider large number Monte-Carlo sampled embedded background. This us extract centrality- and pT-dependence nuclear factor RAA[Υ] elliptic flow v2[Υ]. find good agreement between our model predictions available √ sNN = 5.02 TeV Pb-Pb collision experimental data from ALICE, ATLAS, CMS collaborations.

Charmonium and bottomonium production in heavy-ion collisions

We review the present status in the theoretical and phenomenological understanding of charmonium and bottomonium production in heavy-ion collisions. Starting from an introductory historical perspective, recapitulating the basic notion of “anomalous quarkonium suppression” in heavy-ion collisions, we develop ingredients and concepts aimed at a comprehensive approach to utilize heavy quarkonia as...

Elliptic flow of deuterons in relativistic heavy-ion collisions

Using a dynamical model based on the NN → dπ,NNN → dN , and NNπ → dπ reactions and measured proton and pion transverse momentum spectra and elliptic flows, we study the production of deuterons and their elliptic flow in heavy-ion collisions at RHIC. The results are compared with those from the coalescence model. The deviation of deuteron elliptic flow from the constituent nucleon number scaling...

In-Medium Bottomonium Production in Heavy-Ion Collisions

We study bottomonium production in heavy-ion collisions using a transport model which utilizes kinetic-rate and Boltzmann equations to calculate the energy, centrality and transverse-momentum (pT ) dependence of the yields. Both gluodissociation and inelastic parton-induced break-up including interference effects are improved over previous work by using in-medium binding energies from a thermod...

Elliptic Flow from Minijet Production in Heavy Ion Collisions

We calculate the contribution to the elliptic flow observable v2 from two–particle correlations in minijet production in ultrarelativistic heavy ion collisions. We use a minijet production cross section derived in a model inspired by saturation approach to high energy scattering. Resulting differential elliptic flow v2(pT ) is an increasing function of pT for transverse momenta below the satura...

Elliptic flow in heavy ion collisions near the balance energy

The proton elliptic flow in collisions of Ca on Ca at energies from 30 to 100 MeV/nucleon is studied in an isospin-dependent transport model. With increasing incident energy, the elliptic flow shows a transition from positive to negative flow. Its magnitude depends on both the nuclear equation of state (EOS) and the nucleon-nucleon scattering cross section. Different elliptic flows are obtained...
